Senior Curriculum
We offer a wide range of subjects at Western Heights High School. Every effort is made to ensure that all students are able to study the subjects they prefer. We are confident that students are able to find a pathway to training and qualifications for a worthwhile and rewarding career. Our careers advisors are available to assist with subject choice.
YEAR 11 - NCEA LEVEL 1
Students in Year 11 at WHHS must study English, Mathematics, a Science, and Physical Education and Health.
They may select two further options, usually from the subjects they have enjoyed in Year 9 and 10.
Six subject and multi-level programmes may be provided on a case by case basis.

Students in Year 13 at WHHS select five subjects.
